Here is a review of the BEST SIX MONTHS OF MY LIFE:
It was basically love at first sight & I wasn't ashamed to admit it.
I shared my love story/miracle with pretty much everyone I knew. I never thought he would find out about this blog of mine until my lovely sister Kelly spilled the beans. Oh well, he ended up loving it. (Funny story, I just about died of embarrassment & threatened to delete the whole thing but he convinced me otherwise.)
I had never been happier! I didn't know how but every day with him got better. He gave me my first flowers ever! He also gave me an iPhone!! How did I luck out with such a generous boyfriend?! Since then he's given me so many other gifts including an iPod, the cutest coat ever!, & much more!
We had lots of adventures together! Including: my 21st Birthday, Lollapalooza!!, my first Brewers game, the drive in, & visiting his dad up north!
The whole summer was like a wonderful blur that went by fast & slow at the same time. None of it felt real! My real life prince charming came out of no where & made my whole life light up. Then September came & I got a little sad. Summer ending, Justin going back to school, & my sister left for Colorado.
I was convinced my fairy tale life was ending & I would head back to reality. But I didn't! Just when I thought Justin couldn't get any better he started surprising at night after his classes! Are you sure you're real Justin? There is no way I have found someone this perfect.
During our 6 months we have gone on some awesome dates! Our random Tuesday date, many trips to Yo Mamma's frozen yogurt, double dates with Kelly & Ken, double date with a cute young couple, a triple date scavenger hunt, a half blind double date, picnics at the park, many movies at the theatre, Bon Iver in Chicago!, & many more. I. Am. Spoiled. As much as I love all of our dates out, some of my favorite memories were nights spent in. Watching all the Harry Potter movies, snuggling, watching Felicity, eating Jimmy Johns, slapping each other in the face with sour rope candy, & laughing till we cry.
We also had our fair share of family time! He helped build our deck, many weekends spent with my parents watching Netflix, FFF day, Zoo trip, Birthday parties, Holidays, babysitting, & random family game nights. Justin has become part of the family. It's like my whole family is dating him! They all love him so much. I am so thankful for that.
6 months since this conversation: "so do you like want to be my girlfriend?" "yeah I guess" I am still floating on air. Justin is my own personal testimony of God's faithfulness. I was convinced I would die an old maid. Little did I know God was preparing the PERFECT man for me. When we were both ready God brought us together. I can't wait to see where this love adventure heads next!
I love you Justin!
