hair-do how-to

I want to start by saying I felt pretty stupid taking these pictures of myself. I get a lot of questions about my hair so I decided to vaguely walk you through the process.

Step 1. Have crazy hair to begin with. This is my hair after washing it, air drying, coconut milk serum, & leave in conditioner.

 Step 2. Back comb it like crazy. The whole top back of my head is teased as you can see below.

 Step 3. Curl small sections of hair into ringlets.

 Dunzo!

 p.s. ignore the fleece. I did this at work & it was freezing!

& that pretty much sums up my hair!

I forgot to mention this whole process takes about 10-15 minutes tops. Super simple. 

Pooh Bear!

Wednesday night I got to see one of my best friends Ben Pepin! (aka Pooh Bear) Ben is the kind of friend who will call me out & speak truth into my life. He always wants an update on my spiritual life & is happy to share his as well. Ben is in a band called Loftland & it takes up a lot of his time. I haven't seen him in months so I was very excited to hear they were playing a show in town. The only problem was he told me it started at 7:00 so I showed up at 7:00. The show actually started at 9:00 & I had to leave at 9:00. At least we had two hours of catching up. I felt bad leaving before I got to see them preform but I already had plans with Justin. There was no way I was cancelling that. All I heard from Ben & Taylor that night was "Seriously Stacey? Bros before Hos!". Them being the bros & Justin being the ho hahaha. I love my guy friends but Justin always wins.

Lazy Weekend.

This is how Justin & I spent the entire weekend. I loved every second of it! We were both in need of a relaxing, lazy weekend. We watched movies & snuggled all day every day. It was the best! We tried to watch all the Harry Potter movies but only made it through 3. We talked a lot & laughed even more. Sunday night he took me out to dinner at Olive Garden (my favorite) then it was right back to watching Harry Potter during a thunderstorm. I did NOT want the weekend to end. I love this guy.

Dear Zara,

Please come to Milwaukee. I will love you forever. Or at least make online shopping available in the USA. That would be fantastic.

Zoo Trip!

Sunday my whole family went to the zoo after church. I'm not an animal lover but I had a good time regardless. Justin was there so that makes up for the smelly creatures.
